The Mitsubishi ML-8000 is a simple MSX clone with only one cartridge slot.


Released on October 21, 1983 (Friday) in Japan at a retail price of 59,800 JPY. The Mitsubishi ML-8000 was not only the first MSX computer released by Mitsubishi, it was the first MSX on the market of any vendor.
At the time of its release, it was announced that it would support the control of the Mitsubishi Diatone Z10 and Z-30 audio intelligent systems by using a dedicated Roboty interface with built-in software and the industrial micro robot Mitsubishi Move Master II RM-501 by using the printer port with a software in MSX-BASIC.
