Students use Blissymbols to practice recognizing and applying several basic concepts. Drills offer students opportunities to distinguish left from right, both from their own and from other people's perspectives; to determine the spatial location of objects ("in/out," "up/down"); and to describe the size and quantity of objects ("big/little," "few/many"). Special options enable teachers to adjust programs to individual needs.
