A single-player racing game containing no microprocessor. The player competes against computer cars, gaining points for elapsed distance before time runs out. Crashing requires the player to shift into low gear to start again (two speeds).

Licensed version of Taito's "Speed Race".
According to some sources, this was the first video game licensed in the U.S. It was a big hit for Midway and led to a lucrative relationship with Taito. More than 7000 units were produced in the US.
Also released in a lower cabinet as "Racer [Model 592]".
