War is a single terminal two-player running on a CDC-6600 at the University of Texas.
Players take turns at the keyboard in an effort to hunt each other down. Planets can be conquered to make them your own.
Based on the earlier Star Trek games.
The game was eventually rewritten and expanded on a DEC PDP-10 to become DECWAR.
