This is a homebrew port of the classic arcade game Moon Patrol for the Vectrex.
Take a ride with your moon-car through wild moon-canyons while getting attacked by hostile ufo's, bombers and blasting your way through rocks, mines, moontanks, etc...
Main Features of vector patrol:
- Calibration menu to compensate drift.
- Difficulty menu (1=easy, 2=normal, 3=hard).
- A pause-button.
- All buttons are configurable to be remapped.
- High score table and record times table.
- Demo mode when game is left alone.
- Some small 3-D rendered animations.
- Secret game features can be unlocked.
The cartridge contains a non-volatile memory chip (Eprom) to save calibration settings and up to 9 highscore entries and the record times tables.
Released in October 2018.
Tutstronix is the homebrew work of Kristof Tuts, a Belgian Vectrex developer who's hobby is to port classic arcade games to the Vectrex. His games are shipped internationally by mail. You receive a game box, manual, cartridge and even selfmade Vectrex overlays.
