Players use a mallet to hit cake monsters called 'Pyokotan' that pop out of the 8 colored holes in the machine. The objective is to hit as many Pyokotan as possible before time runs out, every 40 hits adds 15 seconds to the timer.

The game's background music was reused in "Pac & Pal" for the name entry theme.
