A 'Janggo' is a Korean musical instrument made with Paulownia. It is mainly used for Samul Nori; a traditional percussion music originating in Korea.
Mr. Jang-Go won the 'Grand Prize of This Year' award in December 2002.
After the selection of play mode and tune grouping of one’s favor, the player starts beating the double sided drum with both hands holding a dextral and a sinistral stick each aptly to the music scores as instructed by the signs flowing on screen.
Unlike other drums, the dextral batterhead is separated in two parts. The drummer should be smart enough to sense which part he/she should beat. The game is designed to be played by a single drummer.
