TRIVIA

This Model M, with hopper pay, was Mills first multi-coin slot. The first 5 coins played on this nickel machine multiplied all the wins proportionally. On the 6th coin 3 cherries and 3 oranges became $5 jackpots and the player had 180 ways to jackpot. On the next coin plums and pears became $5 jackpots raising the total to 340 ways. Also on the 6th and 7th coins the stacks of money on the poker table would light-up announcing the additional ways to jackpot. When 8 coins are played, the 4 super Jackpots are worth 10 times the one coin amount. The Mills Gambler was patterned after the 1963 Fey 8-Coin Multiplier. For their consulting work the Liberty Belle was given the first production model.
