The title of this game translates from Japanese as 'Karate Master, a Lifetime of All-Work-No-Play'.

The machine features characters from the popular comic title 'Karate-Baka Ichidai', which was originally written by Ikki Kajiwara and drawn by Jiro Tsunoda. The comic depicted half of the life of Masutatsu Oyama, founder of Kyokushin karate school who was given the nickname God's Hand. With its impressive style, the comic became tremendously popular series when it appeared in the weekly Shonen Magazine from 1971 to 1977. The comic title was later reproduced in such media as animations and movies, representing a milestone in the martial art genre of comics.
