Bulls and Cows © 1973 DEC [Digital Equipment Corp.]

An implementation of the pen and paper code breaking game Bulls and Cows. The computer thinks of a code of five numbers and the players must try to guess it. After guessing the player is told his bulls (correct numbers in correct positions) and cows (correct numbers in incorrect positions).

TRIVIA

Published in July 1973 as a type-in program in the 101 BASIC Computer Games book.

Originally the game was called 'Bulcow'. Also known as 'Bradford University Bulls and Cows Game'.
