TRIVIA

Atari Soccer was released in April 1980, selling at an MSRP of $1495.

The large trackball used by this game is the same one used by "Atari Football", "Atari Basketball", and "Atari Baseball", as well as the Upright and Cockpit versions of "Missile Command".

In France, Atari and a jukebox brand named 'electrokicker' built a special cabinet for Atari Soccer and renamed it to "Coupe du Monde".
