Ryuuko no Ken Gaiden was released on June 14, 1996 in Japan.

Like most of the Neo-Geo CD conversions, no (or minor) differences can be seen from the original, the main interest was the lowest price of the game.

This CD version contains additional endings for the two secret characters (Sinclair & Wyler).
