Shin Nippon Pro Wrestling: Toukon Retsuden features 12 wrestlers of the New Japan Pro Wrestling promotion. Challenge the computer or a friend. Or try the Burning Spirits Challenge, where you face each of the other wrestlers. Fight to become the IWGP champion or enter the GI Climax League or Tournament. Players can also watch two computer controlled wrestlers go at it, view records and results and even watch replays of their matches via the Best Bout feature.
