Reflec Beat is a music game from Konami designed for 2 players, with players competing 1vs1 via linked machines. If there is only one player, a computer opponent is used in place of the second player.

Each player has a horizontal bar across their screen. Players compete to best their opponent's score by moving to the rhythm while touching and bouncing back notes that come flying toward the horizontal bar. These notes then fly to your opponent's screen where they have to do the same thing. Depending on the BPM of the song, the notes will come really slow or really fast.

The game's simple rules and instinctive use of the touch panel allow for fun, easy, and rhythmic gaming for anyone. There are three levels of musical difficulty, and players can compete at the level of difficulty that best suits them.

The system features more than 50 songs, including 'Ready to be a lady', by GIRL NEXT DOOR, as well as LUCKY STAR by Ai Otsuka, Mata Kimi ni Koi Shiteru by Fuyumi Sakamoto, and a wide range of other titles by popular artists

Players are also able to compete online against players through the e-AMUSEMENT service where available.
