TIPS AND TRICKS

CLASSES:
There are four character classes in Hydlide 3 - The Warrior, the Thief, the Priest, and the Monk.
The Warrior is the most balanced of the four classes. He has a high Armor Class and Attack Power, but can only cast 6 of the 12 magic spells.
The Thief is the most unbalanced character. He has an exceptionally high amount of Hit Points, and his massive strength allows him to carry and wield heavy weapons and armor very quickly. However, his intelligence, Moral Fiber (MF), and Magic Points (MP) are all very low. The Thief has the easiest start in the game but the hardest finish.
The Priest has high Moral Fiber and intelligence. His fighting skills are average, but he can cast all 12 of the spells in the game. The Priest is probably the best all-around character. The Monk has superior ratings in almost every attribute. He can also cast all 12 spells. His only flaw is his very low number of Hit Points. The Monk has the hardest start but the easiest finish.

SOUND TEST:
First you must complete the game. When the title screen appears again, select the CONTINUE option from the title menu and return to the Cemetery South-East of the game's starting point. You should be at least 7th level or should have INTELLECT at least 50th level to open the hidden passage leading to the Hidden Village. Just step before the grave in 5th column from left, and 2nd row from bottom. The secret passage will open. Enter the Hidden Village and head to the west, then step under the roof of HANGAR to the left from the INN. Menu with music titles will appear. Press any button to cycle through compositions, press B to exit.
