Hany in the sky is a vertical shooter by Face featuring a curious clay character called Hany. He has the ability to fly, and is sent by his master on a perilous mission to save the world. His greatest power is the ability to fire in any direction - the first action button rotates his arms and the second fires balls of energy at his enemies. Money (or energy points) are earned each time an enemy is defeated, and these points can be used to purchase new weapons and items at anytime during the game (by pausing and pressing the first action button). There, Hany's master appears and gives the player a list of items available for purchase. Another list shows the current equipped weapon and Hany can freely switch from one to another. Other special items, such as life-bars, armors, shields or rotating flames (to only name a few) can also be selected. The game also features non-linear special stages where Hany has to find its way to the boss - if he fails, he is then condemned to start the stage again, or the whole game in some rare occasions.
