This game at first glance appears to be Namco's Pac-Man (1980), an iconic and reputable classic. However, this game is very different in it's themes. The player controls a red and yellow piranha that collects orbs as points, while avoiding the 4 squid-like creatures.
The graphics have been drastically altered to present an underwater theme.
Most of the maze in this game is wide open. You are free to move about various open portions of the maze, but so are the monsters.
One central tunnel is present on the sides, as well as another central tunnel on the top and bottom of the screen.
This upgrade of Pac-Man was released as a conversion kit in November 1981. It comes in an upgrade board, much like the original Ms. Pac-Man does.
